Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was released in 2020 and immediately became a hit. The success was so unexpected that Epic Games contacted the developer studio Mediatonic to buy it out. Since then, it has followed a similar model to Fortnite in that there are regular events, crossovers, and seasons where players have the opportunity to dress up for a one-time sum within the season.
Mediatonic announced in an exclusive live stream that you will be able to play Fall Guys for free in the future, and they also announced a few things regarding crossplay. Broadly speaking, this means that we will soon be able to enjoy Fall Guys on all platforms (PlayStation, PC, Xbox & Nintendo) and even all on the same network!
When will the free-to-play patch be released?
As already announced on Twitter, we can expect the update on June 21, 2022. Existing owners will also receive a Legacy Pack bundle (free cosmetics) and the Free For All season pass as a token of gratitude for their loyalty.
