One game, two friends and tons of fun! Gideon and Fardin have finally made it and the couple therapy is finished, that means here comes my conclusion.
First of all, the game itself is developed by Hazelight Studio, which has released some good games in the past, such as A Way Out and, under the former name Starbreeze Brothers, A Tale of Two Sons.
Now to my impression, first of all, it must be said that the game has already received awards in various categories at the Game Awards, including best family game, best multiplayer game and best game of the year. Whether these awards are justified is something everyone can ask themselves, in my eyes it’s not perfect for the whole family and I would also see it more under adventure co-op game than multiplayer game. I would still recommend it to everyone to play it once!

The game has very emotional moments and the story is roughly about a child who suffers from the fact that the parents are always fighting and it almost comes to a divorce. This psychological pressure weighs very heavily on the child and it wishes that the parents would stop arguing. In addition, she (Rosie) the daughter thinks that she is to blame for the fact that the parents separate.
The parents May (the mother) and Cody (the father) have been drawn by the suffering of Rosie into a mystical world in which they can not die and have to solve various kinds of puzzles, for this always stands in their way a book (Dr.Hakim) that tries for Rosie to solve the problems of the parents and tries everything so that they find together again.
I have put a few of these exciting puzzle levels in a gallery for you, some of these gigantic levels were so big that you almost thought you were in an open world game.
The game also contains very strange and emotional parts, including the boss fights. For me, It Takes Two already started to get emotional when it came to removing the eye of the boss in the first boss fight with the help of a vacuum cleaner arm (you are shocked at first). However, the boss fights as well as the levels are very exciting and varied with the help of skills, for example, in the first chapter you use a hammer (May) and 3 nails (Cody) to play through the first level and fights.

I’ve never been so surprised in a game as I was in this one, it’s an experience you have to have in gaming both the graphics and the gameplay and the story just fit (Even when the elephant died a little tear ran).
