Chapter 4 is coming up and I wanted to give you a sneak peek of the new Season in Valorant.
First, I’ll start with the weapon changes:
- The Ares is buffed and the fire rate is increased from 10 to 13
- The Guardian has been customized
- Spectre makes much less DMG on longrange than before
- The Melee system was adjusted and the hitbox increased by 1.5 times
So the updates of the weapons I find very daring especially with regard to the Ares since this could be overused again. In addition to the weapon changes, the new season also features new skins and a new Battlepass.

The Ranked changes are also a bit bigger this time because from now on you don’t count 10 wins to play Ranked, you have to be level 20+ to play Ranked. The patch in the Ranked section of course nerfs massive smurfers and players who only play the game casually.
Neon
The last item we have is the new agent Neon. There’s not much to write about the design – I think that’s a matter of opinion, but I think that with its blue design it stands out a bit too much like Yoru on certain maps and thus has a small disadvantage on maps like Bind or Split.
Skills:
(E) Ability: Sprint / Dash [2 Kills]
She sprints forward for 15 seconds plus she has a stamina bar of 100, when this is used up she can only use this ability again after 2 more kills.
(C) Ability: Fast Lane [300 Credits 1 Charge]
She creates 2 walls that she can manipulate while holding down the abilities, the maximum length and steadiness is second dependent up to 6 seconds.
Their Energy abilities cause damage not only to enemies but also to allies.
(Q) Ability: Relay Bolt [200Credits 2Charges]
The Relay Bolt bounces from the first marked point (wall or floor) to the next point, leaving a rather large area which stunts all enemies standing in it by 2.5 seconds within 1 second.
(X) Ability: Overdrive [7 Charges Ultimate]
She fires a laser with her hand at an opponent, causing a cylinder in which the opponent has limited movement and cannot escape. After that she has 20 seconds to eliminate him so that she gets an Ult Reset and can cat the next opponent.
